Purpose: His Will Homes (HWH) purpose is to be a change agent in how people see, understand, and respond to those who struggle with mental health conditions. We do this by developing Mental Health Warriors who champion the "Creating an Atmosphere of Respect and Empathy" (C.A.R.E.) Movement. Mission: The path HWH is following to bring this change (C.A.R.E. movement) about is to build an online community and platform that will bring the mental health realm to one arena. Resources on the platform and money generated from the community will be pinpointed against the key barriers to helping warriors who struggle with mental health conditions; Stigma associated with mental illness, Housing scarce and deplorable, Aloneness that is deadly, Care that is inadequate and not person centered, Knowledge about mental health conditions that is hard to find and easily misunderstood. (S.H.A.C.K.) Vision: HWH envisions a world where the C.A.R.E. movement is so well established that a mental illness is viewed no differently than any other illness. A world so changed, everyone with a mental health condition has a home with a family atmosphere in a loving community locally, online, or both. A place where the S.H.A.C.K.s have all been torn down by mental health warriors.
