Ryan Johnson is a documentary director and humanitarian photographer who crafts visually compelling content for NGOs and non-profits. Ryan has traveled around the globe to work in some of the most remote and demanding environments, bringing back stories that challenge people’s assumptions about the world. He has traveled to nearly 30 countries in the past seven years, covering topics like humanitarian crisis, marginalized populations, political instability, extreme poverty, child labor, health, refugees, and genocide. Currently, Ryan works full-time for a global child development organization and is based in the United States. Ryan believes that true stories, told courageously and with empathy, can be used as a light to illuminate humanity’s darkest shadows.
