Happy is improving the way we access support and has the potential to dramatically increase the number of people who receive the most critical component of mental health, reliable emotional support. Our platform and app directly address three public health crises; chronic isolation, chronic stress and substance abuse, which are deadlier than diabetes and obesity and affect a third of the U.S. population. Happy has developed a web platform as well as an application to provide people with the support they need when going through life's everyday stresses as well as it's greater struggles. The app connects users 24/7 to a vetted, nonjudgmental listener so they can talk about whatever is on their mind. It's anonymous, intuitive and affordable. Our website, as well as our greater mission, is committed to changing the culture around asking for help as well as providing it. Tech has enriched our lives but it has also isolated us. Happy is working on using tech to foster genuine human connection by providing content and educational tools to help individuals learn how to give support and receive support. As Happy grows we will be hosting live events, encouraging meetups and partnering with companies to continue to build a greater sense of support and community in our society. The science behind the health benefits of lowering stress, anxiety and loneliness is undeniable.
