Genesia was founded in the year 2010, and represents one of the companies with the most experience in offering genetic counseling. Our goal is to integrate the new and dynamic advances in this field with the rest of the medical specialties. Medical genetics is a transversal specialty that works in conjunction with other medical specialties with the aim of obtaining a precise causal diagnosis, providing comprehensive family genetic counseling and serving as a support for the subsequent taking of Decisions in the doctor-patient relationship. Our main areas of action are oncology and reproductive medicine. In this sense, there are clinical guidelines, aimed at carrying out a complete medical history, genealogy, physical examination and genetic counseling, and laboratory guidelines, aimed at conducting the studies that solve the case. The worldwide trend is to achieve a personalized medicine, with the focus more on prevention than on the cure of diseases.
