Street and skate wear for women; Man Up Girl! is a mismatched compilation of loud prints, hip-hop mixtapes, wayward GIFs, POV filming, and a truly stubborn aesthetic. The brand took shape to fill a gap in our wardrobes – the variety in Mens skatewear just wasn’t there and womenswear wasn’t tough enough, so we took everything back to basics and redesigned it from the ground up, just how we like it. Our inspirations come from all angles, we’ve got a love for fonts of all sorts, art from the Memphis group and not so serious graphics amongst other things. Imperfections are what motivate us you can see it in our slanted take on skatewear staples. For us, it always boils down to the flaws and faults created by the irregular movements we see when our friends skate, so our clothes are twisted & tucked to allow new shapes to develop naturally.
