The company was founded in 1967 and has grown to be a major specialty chemical manufacturer and distributor in the United States. Thatcher produces proprietary blends of products for water, wastewater, process and utility applications. These products are used by Oil & Gas, Dairy, Pharmaceutical, Municipal, Power, Agriculture and other industrial customers. Today, Thatcher Company employs more than 350 people, with headquarters located on 25 acres in the industrial area of Salt Lake City, Utah. Operating in a number of locations nationwide, Thatcher’s flexible business model with diversified products for our regional customers allows us to respond to the changing needs of our customers and the marketplace.
