The Dubai Fishermen Cooperative Society was established under the license by Ministry of Social Affairs, Resolution No. 111 of 1988. The Initiative came as a decision to serve local fishermen, to improve their economic, social life, and enhance the spirit of mutual cooperation between them. It also aimed to regulate the profession of fish selling, the total registered members and shareholders contribution has grown up to 900+.
