DigitalKidZ
www.digitalkidz.euDigitalKidZ delivers STEM educational tools based on storytelling and play to help children learn basic digital skills and coding, because we at DigitalKidZ believe that every child deserves quality education that will enable them to find their personal and professional realisation in a technology-dependent society. We dream of students being creators, not just consumers of tomorrow’s technologies. We dream of students using technology safely and with digital skills. We dream of a modern education, according to the 21st Century's competences, which will support children to grow as free and aware individuals, able to create innovation, by upgrading the experience of previous generations. Children should be able to communicate effectively and be competitive, no matter in which part of the world they choose progress. DigitalKidZ methodology was approved by Education Authority of Finland and holds accredited teacher trainings for educators. Launched as an NGO and transformed into a startup, during the first six years of its existence DigitalKidZ researched the market, raised awareness, developed a series of prototypes and MVPs, and validated the market demand. Awards: • Best Virtual Teamwork Solution - Central European Awards (2020) • DigitalKidZ STEM Club - Finalist at the Innovation in Politics Awards (2019) • John Atanasoff President Award Recognition for particularly high public contribution in the field of Computer Science (2017) • Best Social Campaign of Bulgaria - Forbes Awards (2016)
