In early 2011, Sunspot licensed their song, "Go, Pack!" to FOX Sports for their Super Bowl coverage, with some residual coverage for the song on NPR as well as numerous Wisconsin radio stations. With themes of aliens, ghosts, ancient prophecies, and science fiction, Sunspot has fused their passions for the unusual with metaphors for our everyday lives and used them to fuel their latest release (September 2015): Weirdest Hits. They meld hard rock, pop, electronic, and punk influences with themes that take inspiration from Arthur C. Clarke to Aleister Crowley. In addition to regularly performing, writing, and recording music, the band produces a weekly paranormal podcast called See You On The Other Side which features a new song each week related to that episode's discussion topic. The podcast can be found on iTunes/Stitcher and at www.othersidepodcast.com
