CINESI is a mobility consultancy founded in 1996 in Barcelona. Since then we have been working in local, regional, national and international projects. CINESI has a multidisciplinary team compounded of civil and industrial engineers, economists and geographers. We mainly operate in the field of transport planning, mobility management, as well as transport and traffic simulation and analysis, being specialized from the beginning in a wide range of studies related to public transport. Moreover, CINESI has a significant reputation in all those activities and projects regarding traffic management and modelling, cost-benefit analysis applied to transport and economics, definition of transport and mobility options, services and policies, etc. We have a reliable experience in assessing both public Administrations and transport companies (from either public and private sector): network planning and operating costs, transport economics, service level indicators, workforce management, marketing and communication, quality management, fleet management, etc. CINESI has extensively participated in European funded projects. After a first successful participation in the BYPAD project (Bicycle Policy Audit), the company decided to make a step further towards European Projects. The strong and close relationship between CINESI and some Municipalities and key local stakeholders has also been crucial to participate in new EU projects.
