In the Spring of 2016, BCIT became the first and only Polytechnic institute admitted to the prestigious JDC West competition. Our first two years of competing BCIT sent a half delegation which consisted of a debate team, social team, athletic team and four academic teams. We finally sent our first full delegation to the 2019 competition hosted by Simon Fraser University. Throughout our four years of competition, BCIT has been able to bring home six awards to our trophy case located in building SE 6 at BCIT. We were able to make BCIT history in 2020 with our Operations Management delegates receiving second place.
