Thanks to the roaming, evpass members can recharge their vehicles on other charging networks in Switzerland and abroad. evpass was created in 2016 by Green Motion SA, the Swiss pioneer in charging infrastructure for electric vehicle charging. Since March 2021, Green Motion SA has been part of Eaton. In 2018, FMV SA (Forces Motrices Valaisannes) and the Aargau-based energy supplier AEW Energie AG became shareholders in evpass SA. The evpass network is operated and managed by Eaton.
