Samrat Ashok Technological Institute (SATI), a premier institute of the region was established by Late Maharaja Jiwaji Rao Scindia on November 1, 1960 with a donation from Gangajali Trust fund. The Institute started with B.E. in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & Electrical Engineering. Now the Institute offers 11 Under Graduate Programmes leading to degree in B.Tech. and 9 full time Post Graduate Programmes (6 M.Tech., MCA, MBA and M.Sc. in Applied Chemistry) in the areas of Engineering, Science and Management. It is an autonomous institute, which is Grant in Aid by Government of Madhya Pradesh and managed by the Maharaja Jiwaji Rao Education Society chaired by Hon'ble Shrimant Jyotiraditya M. Scindia. The college campus is spread over an area of 85 acres of lush green land with natural surroundings. SATI has been enjoying unique reputation of nurturing the most competitive engineering talents of the nation for over 60 years and now it is fully geared up for infusing in them a sense of profundity, inquisitiveness professionalism and general efficiency. The institute's objective is to produce highly qualified, innovative and dynamic professionals for corporate & sectors, for the service industries, for self employment, and for academic & research institutions.
