We produce qualified, dedicated graduates to fill the high demand for talent in the software and tech marketplace throughout the Louisville, Kentucky area. Code Louisville provides 12 weeks of software development training in a range of topics leveraged through the Treehouse platform. Currently, we offer Front End Web Development as the introductory course, with options various elective options for subsequent classes. Offerings have included C# / .NET, JavaScript / React, Python for Data Science, Java, Salesforce Administration, PHP, Android and iOS Mobile Development, Ruby on Rails and a group project course. Students meet once per week in-person during the 12-week session to seek guidance from mentors, solidify their learning, and work on projects. They also spend about 10-15 hours per week completing the required Treehouse track and working on their project outside of class. Over 345 of our graduates have gone on to launch a career in tech, including roles as developers, programmers, designers, QA analysts, business analysts, project managers, digital marketers, and more. In 2014, a Workforce Innovation Fund Grant was awarded to KentuckianaWorks to grow the Code Louisville program.
