The Centre for Genetic Origins of Health and Disease (GOHaD) is a research centre based in Perth, Australia. Our multidisciplinary team of statistical and molecular geneticists, bioinformaticians, computer programmers and epidemiologists collaborates nationally and internationally to investigate genetic, epigenetic and environmental contributions to risk of common disease. Our goal is to translate this knowledge into new and improved diagnostic tools and risk models to better identify those individuals at greatest risk of disease; ultimately to inform better health care services and health outcomes.
