Klinički bolnički centar Sestre milosrdnice osnovan je 1846. godine i time je jedna od najstarijih, ali i najvećih zdravstvenih ustanova u Republici Hrvatskoj. Sestre milosrdnice University Hospital Center was founded in 1846 and is one of the oldest, but also the largest health care institutions in the Republic of Croatia. Ove godine obilježit će 175 godina rada i postojanja. Ustanova je smještena u srcu grada Zagreba, okružena zelenilom njegovanog parka i šume Jelenovac. Najstarija je zdravstvena ustanova našeg zemljopisnog prostora i kolijevka Medicinskog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu. U svom prostoru obuhvaća i dvije srednje škole: Srednju medicinsku školu i Srednju školu za primalje. This year, it will mark 175 years of work and existence. The institution is located in the heart of the city of Zagreb, surrounded by greenery of a well-kept park and Jelenovac forest. It is the oldest health institution in our geographical area and the cradle of the Medical Faculty of the University of Zagreb. It also includes two high schools: the Medical High School and the Midwifery High School. U Kliničkom bolničkom centru Sestre milosrdnice odvija se raznovrsna i dinamična znanstvena aktivnost: Djeluje i 28 referentnih centara Ministarstva zdravstva Republike Hrvatske. Klinički bolnički centar Sestre milosrdnice ukupno ima: 16 klinika i 6 zavoda / 3 klinička, Objedinjeni hitni bolnički prijem, Bolničku ljekarnu, Institut za klinička medicinska istraživanja te nemedicinske ustrojbene jedinice. Sestre milosrdnice University Hospital Center hosts a diverse and dynamic scientific activity.There are also 28 reference centers of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Croatia. Sestre milosrdnice University Hospital Center has a total of: 16 clinics and 6 institutes / 3 clinical, the Unified Emergency Hospital, the Hospital Pharmacy, the Institute for Clinical Medical Research and non-medical organizational units.
