Gentoo Sailing Team is refocussing their campaign from the 2024 Paris Olympic Games to the 2024 Vendée Globe with the skipper, James Harayda. The Vendée Globe is a solo, non-stop, and unassisted race around the world on 60ft sailing yachts. The event lasts around 80 days for the first finishers, and takes competitors into the most remote and rugged corners of the world. The event attracts a large global audience, and over €370m in advertising value.
