Even before COVID, educators were at high risk of burnout due to the professional and personal demands of ensuring that young people are sufficiently prepared intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically for a future that is unpredictable and rapidly changing. Expectations placed on educators and leaders by parents, boards, and accreditation agencies are high, and educators work harder and longer than those in most other professions. As a 23 year veteran in international k12 education with experiences in teaching, counseling and leadership, I understand just how important it is to ensure that we attend to the social and emotional needs of our students... It is equally important that we attend to the needs of the adults that come into contact with our students (everyone from administration, to teachers, support staff and parents). Kimberly Cullen coaching offers the chance to bring awareness to the entire school community about the importance of balance, self-care, and community wellness in the education of young people. I bring to coaching and consulting over two decades of helping educators and students live into their potential. An educator, leader and coach, I support individuals and organizations who seek change or growth by helping them find their own way. With an authentic, compassionate, and balanced approach that is forward-thinking yet grounded in the present, my goal is to help people live into their potential. I am a graduate of Coach U and a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
