The Augusta GreenJackets are a professional baseball team and the Single-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. The team originated as the Augusta Pirates in 1988 and formally became the GreenJackets back in 1994. The team is named in honor of The Masters golf tournament held in Augusta, where the winner receives a green jacket. The club plays in SRP Park, a 5,000+ seat venue that opened in April 2018. The club is owned and operated by Diamond Baseball Holdings Augusta, LLC.
