BJS Ceramics GmbH was founded in 2014 to carve out the Silicon Carbide (SiC) Fiber business and technology from SGL Carbon SE. With this acquisition, the SGL Carbon key experts for SiC Fiber development and production joined BJS Ceramics GmbH. BJS Ceramics GmbH trail-blazes the development of SiC Fbers in Europe and cooperates with key players in the industrial and scientific arena. The BJS companies offer solutions in ceramics – including Silicon Carbide (SiC) Matrix Polymer, SiC Fibers, and Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMCs).
