LifeSong currently runs 14 weekly Kindermusik classes for children 0-5 years in three different locations on the Northern Beaches. At the core of LifeSong’s philosophy is the importance of the parent-child attachment and the belief that the parent is the child’s best teacher in the early years. These child-centred Kindermusik classes allow children time to explore and play in a safe environment. In a LifeSong class musical development goes hand in hand with other critical aspects of a child’s development: emotional, language, social, and cognitive development. LifeSong teachers offer support to parents and help to model appropriate behaviour and giving tips on behaviour management. Alongside the award winning early music curricula, we introduce parents to research on early brain development and show parents how activities impact upon their growing child.
