Community Conservation Fund Africa (CCFA)
www.ccfa.africaCCFA, a registered non-profit company (NPC), is the official foundation of the hospitality group Mantis. We work at the intersection between conservation, ecotourism, and community with a mosaic of stakeholders towards a conservation-based economy that local communities can participate in and benefit from. Travellers who visit Mantis hotels, eco-lodges and waterways play an important role in supporting conservation-led travel and hospitality. It’s about curated destinations, inspired by sustainable adventures. The Fund partners with internationally successful wildlife conservation organisations such as Wilderness Foundation Africa, African Parks and Tusk Trust, as well as local NGOs, to collaborate on projects in conservation areas in Africa. Through our projects and interventions, we are trying to shift mindsets, to encourage people to become more accountable for their actions and safeguard our wildlife and wilderness areas. Whether it is tourists visiting our properties, our suppliers, team members or the local community, we want to incentivise everyone to preserve our planet. We are here to help educate our travellers, communities and stakeholders to support our wildlife and wilderness areas.
