Initially operating as a sole proprietorship for several years before, The AppRefactory Inc. formally incorporated in January 2011 as a consulting services organization and functioned for its first year with just a single consultant providing programming services for web (both Internet and intranet-facing) applications. By 2012, it expanded its service offerings and set a course toward becoming a more mature programming organization with competencies and technical experience crossing multiple platforms in addition to front-end development experience. As a member of Microsoft BizSpark program, it currently specializes in solutions and integrations with key Microsoft technologies; including the .NET Framework (C#, VB.NET, ADO.NET), SQL Server, SharePoint and Office applications and Web and Cloud-based apps. It's in-house development also offers growing experience with delivery to mobile platforms.
