The Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians (PAFP) is the professional member-driven association for more than 5,000 Pennsylvania family physicians and family medicine residents and students. It is unified with the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). Over the past 70 years, the PAFP has been supporting the specialty of family medicine with 78 percent of all Pennsylvania’s family physicians and over 95 percent member retention. The Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physician is a 501(c)(6) organization. The Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physician Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization.
