M_A/D is a London based architecture and design practice established in 2010, working internationally on residential, hospitality and mixed-use projects. The studio operates through a diverse and multi-national background that informs the direction of our work creating a stimulating international perspective across multiple disciplines. We believe in developing a material, spatial and emotional rationale to all our projects within a range of formal and informal contexts. This is enhanced by a collaborative engagement between client, consultant and builder culminating in a rich narrative and consideration for each project. As a multi-disciplinary studio, M_A/D have experience of working on a wide range of projects and scales within the residential, commercial, transport, sport, culture and education sectors. In addition, the studio is actively engaged in design research, product design and sculpture, providing a rigorous testing ground for design development in all our projects.
