Atelier Janja Gora is a place of creation, a place of search for the lost Japodies treasure, a place of the science of the earth, and its character. It is a place of gathering for people dedicated to art and spiritual development. Earth (clay), water, fire, air, wood and metal are the subjects of our research and fascination. Basic elements that within their interaction and the interaction of the creative mind turn into art peace, weasels, sculptures and memories. The atelier organises seminars and workshops with guest artists from all over the world. Since 2006 we are working on our international ceramic centre. In a country like Croatia, culture in this underdeveloped area is not one of the first priorities. But we believe in our dream and hope there is going to be some more support from government and other organisations. The main idea is to build a place free of national, economical, racial or any other man-made differences. The only criteria are artistic development, exchange of experience and knowledge regardless of their origin, and working on a better and more spiritually conscious world.
