Our menu centres around our custom made wood fired grill, inspired by the open fire grills of Montevideo, Uruguay. Asado refers to the food that is cooked over these open fire grills. One of our aims when conceptualising Char Line was to ensure that we cater to people with all dietary preferences. From vegetarians to gluten free diets, we have designed the menu for those looking to eat light and healthy all the way to meat lovers who are looking for the best steaks in town. We wanted to stay closely connected to nature with sustainability in mind and support local where possible without compromising on quality. This initiative can be seen throughout the restaurant and in our menu. All our vegetables are organic from Cameron Highlands, our seafood is sourced fresh locally, our sauces are homemade from scratch, our plateware is customised and handmade by local artisans, and we use recycled materials as much as possible.
