It would be nice to know that every personal injury attorney has both the ability and willingness to handle all aspects of your claim, even if that means taking your case to trial. The reality is that many of them do not. The opposing party's insurance company, from past experience with your attorney in other cases, will have already evaluated your attorney's willingness and ability to try your case. They won't pay fair value to settle your claim if your attorney wouldn't be recognized in a courtroom. Therefore, the better your attorney is at preparing and trying cases, the more likely it is that you will either obtain a fair settlement or a good verdict.
