Hoc
www.hoc.bikeHoc begins in March 2018, during a hackathon, thanks to 7 students from the Polytechnic University of Milan willing to create an entrepreneurial activity with the most significant impact on urban mobility and the lightest impact on urban and natural environment. The concept aims to allow every inhabitant of a small or medium sized city the access to a full fledged community for local bike sharing, including the possibility to use geographically distributed and trackable everyday-bikes and/or the opportunity to share a unused bike, getting remunerated proportionally to its number of rides by the rest of the population. The system works through a universal smart lock, fitting every kind of bike (granted by the citizens or rigenerated by the startup itself), and a mobile app. The startup has stopped its activity before the creation of a Minimum Viable Product, due to the dissolution of the team.
