Our story starts with our founder, Ellie Wales and her young ambition for designing a go-to British lifestyle brand. Ellie founded Whale Of A Time Clothing in September 2016 from her childhood passion of art and textiles. The brand was created with a vision to provide fun, affordable casual wear with a retro-inspired twist on timeless pieces. As the brand became popular amongst friends and university students, soon Whale Of A Time Clothing became more than just a hobby and it outgrew the small office in Ellie’s family home, to a new office space and warehouse based in West Acre, Norfolk. As the business grew it teamed up with Bloxham PR Agency to assist with taking the brand awareness to the next level. Drawing inspiration from the North Norfolk Coast, Ellie’s designs are defined by simple yet sophisticated block colours that are effortless to style. At the heart of each new collection is the signature sweatshirt constructed from luxurious 100% organic cotton and designed for a relaxed fit. Each season the range grows with new styles and for AW19 we are really excited to be introducing a new line that we just know our customers will love. Today Whale Of A Time Clothing has grown from a small business to a successful and ever growing online retailer.
