Bristol Museums Development Trust is the charity that raises funds for the five museums of Bristol Museum & Art Gallery, M Shed, Blaise Castle House Museum, The Georgian House Museum and The Red Lodge Museum, as well as Bristol Archives and King’s Weston Roman Villa. Across Bristol Museums we care for over two million objects within our world-class collections of fine art, natural history, costume, industrial history and ceramics. These collections share the stories of Bristol’s rich cultural, industrial and scientific heritage, with the people who live, work and visit here.
