When we were created in 1997, we made the choice of quality short films for all audiences, and in particular comedy, very little present in short films at that time. With 24 years of existence, we are proud to have produced totally original short films sometimes qualified as cinematographic UFOs, such as Pascal Gontier's "Little lesson in etiquette", with for the first time in his career Bernard Menez in the role of hitman, or "The Professionals" by Laurent Bertoni, the first French short film bringing together a complete cast of lookalikes of American actors, and the same Bernard Menez... as a defender of French cinema. Several of our short films have been shown for the most part in dozens of French and international festivals. In 2012, our adventure also led us to the production of our first feature film, "Indésirables" by Philippe Barassat. In 2021, 21ème Production wants to be an avant-garde production company in tune with a changing era. Thus, we give a very special place to innovation and new writing allowing a greater immersion of our audiences. We are more particularly attentive to projects related to genre films in the broad sense, to urban culture, to transmedia, multiculturalism, inclusion and sustainability. From writing to production.
