Decorte is a Cambridge, UK-based AI deep tech company that extracts health data directly from sound, commercialising a quantum leap technology in the collection of human body and health data. Its device-agnostic AI engine can extract heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, gastrointestinal health, mental health and physical illness markers in real time from audio files collected by standard microphones. From health analyses on the basis of interactions with voice assistants or videocalls, to replacing complex medical holters monitoring cardiovascular activity with a simple microphone. Decorte is in the process of raising its seed round, having raised $1.6M with multiple investments from Techstars, the co-founder and CTO of ARM, the CTO of IKEA, a US-based AI-focused fund, a UK-based general fund, as well as the government of the United Kingdom to date. Need for its technology has been confirmed by the UK and US governments, and its R&D endorsed by the UK MoD.
