Established in 1992, the Salem Animal Rescue League (SARL) is a non-profit organization whose goal is to find permanent, loving homes for the abandoned and unwanted animals in Salem, NH and surrounding towns. We are active in our community and have several programs in place to aid local citizens. We also provide humane education and awareness in an effort to reduce shelter animal populations. SARL is committed to a 100% spay/neuter policy for all animals adopted from our limited admission shelter. We assist all Salem strays as a first priority and also accept owner surrenders. WE DO NOT EUTHANIZE FOR SPACE. Our shelter may be small in size, but the work we do is BIG as is the hearts of our staff and volunteers. Their love and dedication to these animals is beyond compare.
