A miraculous spiritual awakening set Debra on a journey of healing from chronic illness and seeking Divine Truth. Her journey led her to leave the corporate world and all her possessions to study with a Sufi master from Jerusalem. During 20 years with her teacher, she explored the Sufi teachings of purification of the heart – cleansing barriers that keep us from knowing the reality of existence that resides in our hearts, the resting place of compassion and love. Debra helped develop The University of Spiritual Healing & Sufism, which trains healers, peacemakers and leaders to carry the message of Peace, Love, Mercy, Justice and Freedom to the world. She also has a private practice helping people heal from physical and emotional dis-ease. She teaches a healing method that aligns belief patterns and daily living with the innermost knowings of Divine Truth. Debra also founded the Community for Conscious Living, dedicated to Personal Transformation and Universal Harmony. She helps people make changes that improve their personal lives while creating a sustainable environment for humanity, animals, all of nature and the planet.
