We conduct reseach and teaching within the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Spectroscopy in a broad sense, including applications, MR by optics, and data processing. Magnetic Resonance is a powerful modality providing detailed information about the structure and dynamics of molecules (observable through Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy) or high-resolution anatomical and functional images (acquired by Magnetic Resonance Imaging). Nuclear Magnetic Resonance and Magnetic Resonance Imaging play crucial roles in numerous fields of science ranging from physics and chemistry to biology and medicine. We focus on methods, hardware and applications in order to enable new knowledge and possibilities in these fields. We work with Magnetic Resonance from different angles, most notably hyperpolarization technology and applications (HYPERMAG Center of Excellence), Magnetic Resonance Imaging Acquisition Methodology, Neurophysics, and High-Field Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
