Founded in 2003 by Jay Tilles, a DJ and producer at KROQ-FM, along with his wife Brandee, their goal was simple; work with local artists and vendors to design and manufacture Long Beach branded apparel. Their aim was to help locals show pride for the city they love. The retail store at The Pike quickly became a destination for locals and tourists alike. It was particularly popular with thousands who'd grown up in Long Beach and had moved away. Upon returning to town, the first thing on their agenda was to stop by for a shirt or two. Then in 2010, Shawn Moore, a family friend and local businessman, assisted Tilles in moving the store to the historic Bixby Knolls area of Long Beach. The move proved to be a smart one. With ample free parking and a row of fantastic restaurants, bars and boutiques, Bixby Knolls has turned out to be a blast. Every day we remind ourselves what an honor and pleasure it is to make apparel for those who love Long Beach.
