Benenden Hospital was founded in 1907 and is an independent trust hospital with charitable status. (Registered charity number 1065995) Our patients used to be exclusively Benenden Health members who form the majority of cases, but now we warmly welcome those who wish to fund their own treatment (directly or through insurance) as well as people coming to us as an NHS patient through the NHS E-Referral scheme.
