Experience but not limited too: - Respond to RFQ's. Generate engineering estimates. Create bid package. Conduct client reviews. Manage engineering and design teams. Monitor schedule. Incorporate cost controls. Insure quality of design and deliverables. Promote the culture of Safety in work performance. -Conduct all transactions in a professional manner. -Coordinate activities of support groups, arrange staffing for various phases of projects, and assign specific responsibilities. -Devise strategies with team members to cut costs. -Review customers' specifications and contracts to ensure thorough understanding and adherence to contract terms and conditions. -Monitor and report on contract performance. -Devise a project cost control process and enforce necessary controls to assure maximum project profitability. -Estimate change requests, prepare quotations and implement changes, as appropriate. -Resolve disputes involving back charges, escalation, delays, extras and warranty charges. -Approve purchase orders for contract materials and services, and approve QA requirements. -Ensure timely delivery of quality information and materials. -Serve as prime interface with major customers and project participants. -Review and coordinate flow of information among Superintendents, Management and Customers. Checker/Technical Quality Reviewer -Perform checking of 3D model piping, structural steel, orthographic piping drawings and isometric piping drawings. -Check above deliverable documents and model checked against P&ID's , Equipment Arrangement drawings (GA's), Vendor Equipment drawings, Instrumentation cut sheets, OHSA access requirements and client review comments. - Perform Back Checking of drafted check prints. -Perform Technical Quality Review with management team for final document package review prior to "Issue for Construction" release.
