The NSSOEE was founded as the only scientific association of students in electrical engineering and computer science in 1998, after the first Iranian Student Electrical Engineering Conference in Sharif University of Technology. After several years of activity, with the registration of the organisation in the Ministry of Science and Research and Technology as the Association of Academic Students in Electrical Engineering, the organisation has the task of directing, supporting and planning students for the development and advancement of their research and research work at universities in IRAN
