Interface for Consulting Engineers, P. A. (ICES), was founded in August 1999 with the objective of providing full service Structural Engineering Design Services to Architects, General Contractors, Governmental Agencies, Owners, and Developers. The managing principal has over forty years of experience in the structural engineering discipline. Members of the firm are registered professionals in the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Kansas, Georgia, Arkansas, and Florida. ICES offers Structural Engineering Services for building design in the commercial, medical, educational, institutional, and industrial markets. These services start from the conceptual/schematic design phase of the project, through contract working drawings, specifications, and construction administration. Each building project is evaluated using several structural schemes in order to optimize the structural system and select the framing scheme, which is most compatible with the functional, architectural, environmental, structural, construction time, and economic requirements of the project.
