Agam group is developing products based on proprietary innovative technology for extracting and processing native, non-cross linked, insoluble type II collagen from jellyfish. Collagen has multiple medical, nutritional and cosmetic applications. The Company currently focuses on developing a wound dressing for chronic wounds and a collagen skin substitutes for 3rd-degree burns. Proof-of-concept has been demonstrated at the cellular level in vitro and on animal models. Clinical studies in humans are planned for mid 2014.
