Amplify OT was founded in 2020 by Clarice Grote, MS, OTR/L Amplify OT is ethe go-to place for news about advocacy, policy, and quality for occupational therapy (OT) practitioners and students. There is a lot of information out there on advocacy and policy. Unfortunately, that information is rarely written for occupational therapy practitioners. Amplify OT is the solution to this problem. Our mission is to help all occupational therapy practitioners and students feel confident in their ability to be effective Occupational Therapy Advocates. Amplify OT provides resources for occupational therapy practitioners by an occupational therapist.  All too often, we discuss how OT is underrepresented and misunderstood. The first step in changing this perception is taking matters into our own hands. Therefore, we must learn how federal and state policy impacts our daily lives. With this knowledge, we can effect change to benefit our profession and our clients. After all, if you don't advocate for occupational therapy, who will?
