We are an ESRC-funded consortium of five South West universities, promoting and supporting social science research and researchers. The University of Bath, University of Bristol, University of Exeter, University of Plymouth and University of the West of England share academic expertise and best-practice initiatives to offer students in 17 different pathways support, opportunities and funding. The SWDTP also supports a number of student initiatives, including the South West Research Council, the annual SWDTP Student Conference and our own journal- TOR.
