The Hearts for Hearts Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) and was founded in 2016 by Mai Griffith to bring awareness of people in need of medical supplies in third world countries. When not in school at Santa Margarita Catholic High School, Mai travels to volunteer in medical clinics and hospitals around the world. Mai has made it a goal to raise awareness and solicit both medical equipment and supplies for the locations she volunteers at every year. In 2017 she will travel to the Cape Coast area of Ghana and volunteer at the Cape Coast Training Hospital, Ankaful Leprosy Camp and the Cape Coast Orphanage.
