The primary mission of the European Union (EU) and International Projects Unit is to support the increase in the number and quality of project applications in programs supported by the European Union and International funds of Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa. In addition to the primary mission of the unit, it is to sustainably improve the recognition and awareness of Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa at national and international level in projects and collaborations related to grants and supports of EU and international organizations. Our University's researchers are encouraged to prepare research projects to benefit from international sources and EU funding program, especially in UFUK2020, to provide support in administrative and financial processes at every stage of the projects, to monitor and direct research activities supported by international funds of our University. In this framework, our duties as the EU and International Projects Unit: Coordinating and carrying out information, promotion, awareness and education activities on EU projects and international projects, To be the interface of the University on EU Commission grants and supports and to ensure that calls are announced quickly within the University, in cooperation with international and national contact points, To establish continuous and simultaneous communication and cooperation with public institutions and organizations and stakeholder institutions involved in the national management of EU funds, To carry out activities to increase the recognition and awareness of Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa by EU institutions.
