A new format, convenience store easy Carrefour, is rolled out to target young consumers. Carrefour has extended its presence of e-commerce business to the whole country, and also cooperates with well-known O2O platforms including meituan, ele.me and JD Daojia for customers to enjoy online shopping services anytime, anywhere. Six distribution centers covering all stores in China have been officially put into use, to better achieve online/offline integration. According to 2022 Transformation Plan, Carrefour aims to be the world leader of the food transition for all. As such, Carrefour China initiates six concrete actions to enable consumers to eat better in response to the group’s new global campaign Act For Food. Carrefour has been hammering at providing Chinese consumers with a guarantee of safety and health through direct purchase, Carrefour Quality Line, QR-code traceability system, food safety laboratories, nutrition knowledge popularization, and many other projects. Over the decades, Carrefour is actively engaged in public welfare activities and giving back to the society, and conducting further in-depth poverty alleviation in a sustainable manner via a great variety of fund and project aids.
