To achieve this mission, FINASA will: Promote financial inclusion by supporting the development of fintech solutions that are accessible and affordable to all members of the community, particularly those who are underserved or excluded from traditional financial services. Foster financial literacy by educating the public about the benefits and risks of fintech products and services, and by providing resources and training to help consumers make informed financial decisions. Encourage responsible innovation by working with fintech companies to develop and implement best practices and standards that prioritize the needs and interests of consumers, while also protecting their data privacy and security. Build trust in the community by advocating for transparent and ethical business practices, and by collaborating with regulators, industry partners, and other stakeholders to ensure that fintech solutions are reliable and effective. Assist regulators in policy making by providing expert insights and recommendations on the development and implementation of fintech regulations and standards, and by actively participating in the policy-making process. Position RSA as the main tech hub of Africa by promoting the country's strengths and capabilities as a leader in fintech innovation, and by fostering a supportive and and collaborative ecosystem that attracts and retains top talent.
