AKGEC SKILLS Foundation is an initiative of AKGEC supported by National Skill Development Corporation, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India, to promote industry oriented skills in young people to make them employable. Courses offered are in accordance with National Occupational Standard (NOS). ‘AKGEC Skills’ has the objective to offer Skill development trainings through industry-institution collaboration to empower youths under Certification by Nationally and Internationally recognized Industries/Societies/ Industry Associations/ Sector Skill Councils etc. To strengthen our commitment for improving quality of education, to keep the students and faculty as well as industry personnel, abreast with the latest technological developments in the field of Automation and Robotics, the AKGEC Skills Foundation conducts regular training programmes for the academia and the industry. At present eight Centers of Excellence are functioning under the aegis of CORE and performing various activities to enhance the industry-academia collaboration. New initiatives and activities at these centers is a continuous process.
