MAKO Architecture emerged from a shared a vision to create an urban design focused practice where ideas, process and the environment are at the forefront. Directors Simon Mather and Alex Koll have each practiced Architecture over the last 20 years, and have collectively worked on over 2.5 million square meters of Architecture and Urban Design projects in Sydney and Internationally. We are able to provide a full range of services from inception to completion including construction documentation, concept design, visualisation, feasibility and model making. With the shared belief that the quality of outcome responds directly to the quality of engagement between designer and client, MAKO maintains a high degree of senior engagement on project undertakings. MAKO is a design practice made of highly experienced Architects benefiting from the collective knowledge and creativity of our team and collaborators. We are guided by a strong sense of curiosity and of responsibility to future generations, imbuing our drive to find comprehensive, resilient and often unexpected solutions.
